===============================================================
The Parade route is .7 mile one-way, beginning in Memorial park and ending in Old Town, Pasadena. When you arrive, please check in, turn in your pledges, and get your choir bib and big red bow for your Basset(s). Please return the bows to our table at the end of the parade. We understand that many of you have other dogs who are part of the family; however, because of personality differences, we must restrict this to Basset Hounds only.

Registration is 9:00-11:00 a.m. We will march off at noon. This year we have been guaranteed an early start time. Remember to bring your pledges, water for your dog, and clean up supplies (there are people marching behind us!) We'll have trash cans in the parade with us, and Dispoz-a-Scoops. If your dog tires easily, bring a wagon.

We will have items for sale, including BH Cares annual Basset Hound calendars, and manufacturers' samples for you to take home.

Directions: We will meet on the west side of Memorial Park (Raymond Avenue), Pasadena, by the statue of the soldier. From the 210 Freeway, exit on Fair Oaks, go south less than a mile to Walnut and turn left. The park is one block, on your right.

Parking: The earlier you arrive, the better your choice of parking (parade watchers will be looking for parking, too). Street parking often fills up by 9:00 a.m. If you like, you can drop off your Basset with us and then park. (To enter Holly street, tell the street police you're dropping off for a parade entry.) There are pay parking lots on Holly, across from where we meet; at Parsons (Walnut and Fair Oaks); in a structure on Holly west of Morengo; free parking southeast of the park at the Pasadena Center; and meter parking along Colorado, west of where the Parade will end. (They ticket, so someone will have to refill the meter.)
